Accountability
The accountability section demonstrates that we have evaluated our program to determine the effectiveness and allows us to achieve the best results possible. By evaluating our interventions, we were able to answer the question of, " How are students different as a result of the school counseling program?" The purpose of accountability is to analyze the data that has been collected and make program decisions based on the results.
A needs assessment was administered to 376 freshman in the fall of 2014. The survey was guided by the three ASCA domains - academic, personal/social, and college/career. We created classroom lesson plans, a small group, and a close the gap intervention based on the results of the needs assessment. Below you will find the process, perception, and outcome data for all of our interventions in addition to the results reports and school counselor performance appraisal.
